Batangas Population Statistics (2010 Figures)

This article contains population figures for the Province of Batangas as per the national census undertaken by the National Statistics office in 2010 and released in 2012. The total population for the province is now at 2.4M. The full statistical figures by city and municipality is provided in tabular form below. The numbers are sorted in descending order from most to least populous.

Not surprisingly, the most populous localities are the three cities of Batangas, Lipa and Tanauan, with figures of 305,607, 283,468 and 152,393, respectively.

Sto. Tomas is the most populous municipality with 124,740; while the small island municipality of Tingloy is the least populated with only 16,870.
